Gifthax keeps this simple: nothing here runs without your say-so. Here's exactly what's stored, and why.
Your session (so you stay signed in) and your preferences — language, currency, and country — are stored locally on your device or browser (via AsyncStorage on the app, localStorage on the web) and, for your account, in Gifthax's own database. On this website your language choice is also kept in a small cookie (gifthax_locale), so we can show you the right language version instead of guessing from your location every time. None of this is shared with advertisers, and it can't be turned off — the site and app need it to work.
With your permission, this website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use it — which pages get visited, roughly where from, nothing more. It only starts once you choose "Accept" on the cookie banner, and never runs at all if you choose "Decline." Gifthax doesn't run ad networks or retargeting pixels.
